Processes for engaging with own workers and workers' representatives
In 2025, Heinzel Group strengthened its engagement with employees through expanded communication, leadership development, and workplace wellbeing initiatives. Open dialogue was supported through feedback formats, surveys, informational events, and digital platforms, to ensure transparent and accessible communication across all sites.Open Communication: In 2025, the group strengthened transparent communication across all entities through feedback dialogues, surveys, information events, and digital platforms, such as HeinzelNet and the whistleblowing system. Group-wide leadership and culture initiatives, including The Heinzel Way and local leadership programs, further supported open, trustbased interaction between employees and management.Health & Safety: Employee health and safety remained a priority, highlighted by extensive health & safety actions such as harmonized safety procedures, safety trainings, and improved site tours. Dedicated dialogue formats are additional possibilities to strengthen mental health. Additional wellbeing activities included sports programs, cycling initiatives, fitness sessions, and expanded childcare services across several sites.Career Development: Opportunities expanded through apprenticeship programs, participation in youth and job fairs, and the onboarding of new apprentices. Initiatives like Klimachecker:innen@work engaged apprentices in improving environmental performance at their site.Social Dialogue & Collective Bargaining: The group maintained structured engagement with workers’ representatives and adhered to collective bargaining agreements across entities. Regular cooperation with works councils and involvement in workplace-related decision-making processes ensured that employee perspectives continued to influence improvements in working conditions, safety, and overall culture.
